Olney Alumni Honored at The White House
One of Olney Friends School’s many historically distinguishing characteristics is its relatively small class sizes. Despite graduating twenty or fewer students per year in recent decades, Olney boasts an alumni network comprised of many incredible people who are doing equally incredible work in countless fields across the globe. On Tuesday, November 15th, two of those incredible people were recognized for their professional contributions at The White House in a ceremony hosted by Michelle Obama.
Abe Rybeck ’78 and Marie Acemah (Hon) were in attendance alongside the nation’s First Lady at the 2016 National Arts and Humanities Youth Program Awards event. Olney Friends School would like to congratulate them both on this wonderful achievement and acknowledge their success!
A full video of the ceremony can be found on the official White House website.
