Staying Connected

Olney Friends Boarding School alumni — whether graduates, former students, or past teachers and staff — tend to form strong and lasting bonds. Even after years apart, it is common for such friends to fall easily into deep conversations as if they had parted only yesterday. The shared values of the Olney experience mean those easy conversations can happen even between alumni who never met before.

There are many ways to stay connected with your Olney friends and family:

Update Contact Information

Update your email and mailing addresses, phone numbers, and other contact information so you never miss another Olney Current.

Submit a Class Note

Share your big news by writing in to Class Notes for the next Olney Current.

Volunteer

There are many ways that you can give back to Olney. You can visit as a guest speaker — sharing your journey by giving a presentation to a class, for a weekend program, or at a special campus event. You can be a guest teacher by hosting a weekend or February Friday workshop. Or, you can share your building, mechanical, gardening, baking, or cleaning skills for a day, a weekend, or a week on campus.

Attend a Campus Event or Alumni Gathering

We love having our alumni come back to campus. We encourage you to attend one of our alumni events such as Homecoming or Commencement– see old friends and admire new students.

And if coming back to campus is not an option, we will try to come to you. Every year, we host regional Alumni Gatherings where representatives from Olney can join you and fellow alumni in sharing memories and hopes for the future.
