We’ve created our own special online giving day with another chance to double your donation! Around the world and across human history, the Winter Solstice has been celebrated as a seasonal turning point between increasing darkness and lengthening light. Many faiths and traditions mark the day with literal lights, from bonfires to candles to twinkling electric bulbs, and with the giving of gifts.
This coming Tuesday, December 21st, we invite you to celebrate the Solstice and share your light with a gift to Olney Friends School. As we tend the fires of learning in young minds, you can help light our way forward with your donation. For this special online giving day, a generous donor has pledged to match qualifying gifts up to a total of $5,000. If you’ve been meaning to make an annual donation, this is a way to double your gift!
