Commencement Speaker Announcement

Olney Friends School announces Marie Bundy as the Commencement Speaker for the graduation of the Class of 2022 on Saturday, May 28, 2022.  A member of Stillwater Monthly Meeting of the Ohio Yearly Meeting (Conservative), Marie graduated from Olney in 1954.  She attended The Ohio State University and University of North Florida.  Marie served as Executive Director of Girls Clubs of Jacksonville, FL for fifteen years.  She previously worked as Director of the Substance Abuse Prevention Program for the City of Jacksonville.  She has engaged in numerous volunteer experiences with community organizations in the areas of youth services, history, and environmental causes.  Marie is a mother of three daughters, six grandchildren, eleven great grandchildren, and one great-great grandchild.  She has a passion for wildflowers, local history, and Olney Friends School (especially its farm).
