Enviornmental Ed. Class Trip

Two fun things:
Friday, January 27th the Seniors (Environmental Ed. Class) went to the Green Building Alliance in Pittsburgh for a field trip. Peyton Stuart, the Green & Healthy Schools Coordinator, gave a unique and engaging program designed especially for our students! They enjoyed learning more about sustainability, solving solar panel optimization, toured the GBA office, and had a hydropower competition. At the end of it all the class engaged in a deep discussion of their ideas and thoughts toward meeting goals for sustainable development.
Then Saturday, January 28th some students went to see the Secret Garden and got some delicious crepes at Later Alligator in Wheeling.
