Olney Friends School

Five students and two faculty members recently braved the cold air of late October to hike and camp in the Laurel Highlands of Pennsylvania. Outdoor Education trips are an important element of the Olney Friends School co-curriculum. Outdoor trips help develop leadership skills and build decision-making confidence in students. Students also learn outdoor ethics and preservation skills. Others trips earlier in the year took students on an all day biking excursion and to the Tuscarawas River for canoeing and camping. Several Outdoor Education trips are offered through out the year.
