Olney Friends School Hires Sustainability Coordinator
Olney Friends School is pleased to announce the hiring of Larry Dyer, PHD, as Sustainability Coordinator.
Larry has dedicated much of his career to sustainable agriculture. As Sustainability Coordinator, Larry will develop a long-term plan for appropriate use and preservation of the agricultural and natural land resources under the school's management. Larry will be working closely with Olney's Farm Manager, Don Guindon '74, as well as the academic staff to further the school's goals of increased sustainable food production and integrated curricular programming.
Larry will be joining the Olney staff full-time in July along with his wife, Thea Murray, who will teach chemistry, and their two young children. We are very pleased to welcome Larry, Thea and their children to Olney Friends School.
