Students recently enjoyed Olney Friends School's "somewhat annual" Country Festival, or Bumpkin Fest, as it is commonly known. With the crowning of the festival royalty (King: Sam Leath, Queen: Cecily Allen, Prince: Daniel Gold-Hopton, and Princess: Helen Pauly-Hubbard), the fun began. Students were invited to participate in a variety of carnival games, sample home baked treats, and try to make an "8-second ride" on Olney's "mechanical bull" operated by Mike Britton, farmer at the Taber Farm.
