Commencement 2008 - Mark Your Calendars!
Commencement is a week earlier than is often the case at Olney. Join us on May 30 and 31 for class reunions and share graduation ceremonies for the largest senior class since 1979! We are honored to have Christian Acemah, Olney graduate in the class of 2001, as our commencement speaker. Christian is currently a graduate student at Georgetown University. He recently served as Executive Officer, Policy and Research, for the GAVI Alliance Secretariat, based in Geneva, Switzerland. The GAVI alliance is a public-private partnership focused on increasing children's access to vaccines in poor countries. GAVI unites UNICEF, the World Bank, and major international foundations in setting mutual goals, sharing strategies and coordinating efforts. We hope to see you in late May!
