Storm Report -- and How To Reach Us

Everyone at Olney Friends School is safe and well following Friday night’s storm. The campus suffered minor damage, including at least three downed trees on top campus, and many, many downed tree limbs.

The Main Building was unharmed. The girls dorm and Sunnyside House suffered minor damages. Hutton House sustained moderate damange.

The offices at Olney will be open on a limited basis this week due to an ongoing electrical power outage following Friday night’s storm. We expect to be without power at least through Wednesday. Staff have very limited, selective access to communications.

The school telephone system uses voice-over internet protocol and is therefore inaccessable until power is restored. To reach the school until further notice, please call the administrative cell phone at 740.359.4015.

If you try calling the school at our regular number, 740.425.3655, the phone will ring unanswered. We are not ignoring your call! Until power is restored, we can not hear your incoming calls nor make outgoing calls using that system.

Email access is quite limited.
