“Offer opportunities for post-secondary students to come to Olney to do the “”work”” necessary to complete projects or participate in the development of the activities. For instance, if Olney decided to develop a local farm to table project, instead of faculty and staff taking their limited time away from the necessary focus of teaching/student, school issues - the interns could be responsible for developing and implementing the projects. They would gain practical hands-on knowledge and the school would move closer to its mission of creating sustainable community.”
