Commencement Weekend

June 4 - 6, 2010

Like a Phoenix Rising?

In 1910, Olney arose from the ashes when the Main Building was heavily damaged by fire. Last year we celebrated ten years since a more recent rebirth of the school. Mindful of the school’s rich resources, including its history, we will examine the way forward that is unfolding for Olney. The Board of Trustees has started a process of discernment for the school’s future. A series of “summit” meetings during the 2010-2011 school year will be held to gather and develop a vision for the emerging Olney.

The Commencement speaker will be Julie Wade, former humanities teacher at the school, currently studying for her Ph.D. in Humanities at the University of Louisville.
