Each quarter, students choose team sports or other physical activities such as Ultimate Frisbee, yoga, tennis, folk dancing or running to fulfill their physical education requirement. Our sports program focuses on teamwork, physical fitness, and fun.
We compete against local teams in soccer and basketball. The biggest games of the year for the soccer and field hockey teams are the Homecoming games played against the Olney Friends School alumni.
Each winter term, the entire student body participates in preparation for Gym Ex, an exhibition of balancing, tumbling, and gymnastic skills that takes place on Parents' Night each spring. |
