As of Friday, April 21st, seven kids have been born on campus. Students Rachel, Iris, and Ari all assisted in the delivery of Judith’s three kids this afternoon. More photos can be found on Olney’s Facebook page. A video of one of the births can be found below!
On Monday, March 20th, students and faculty from Olney Friends School visited the University of Pittsburgh for a reading by National Book Award winner and MacArthur Grant recipient Ta-Nehesi Coates. Coates is a memoirist, educator, and regular contributor to numerous periodicals, including The Atlantic, Time, The New York Times, The Village Voice, and The Washington Post.
