All students begin in Structured Study Hall. Each evening they study while faculty monitor and help as needed. Students whose grades are very high are placed in unstructured study hall and are allowed to study in a location of their choice. Students often work cooperatively and learn from each other during group projects and peer workshops.
Students who need more or ongoing help in a particular subject can receive tutoring from faculty or students.
Study skills are taught as an integral part of the Humanities 9 course and refreshed with workshops throughout the year. Students needing additional support in organization, time management, and study skills can meet with the academic dean for one-on-one assistance.
