The spiritual curriculum at Olney Friends School is based on deepening our understanding of ourselves, of others, and of God, however we may understand God.
We draw on Quaker principles of love, truthfulness, integrity, and nonviolence to shape our explorations.
Typical course offerings in religion include Quakerism, Old and New Testaments, as well as some more personalized instructor-designed courses that are intended to help adolescents discover their spiritual selves.
Students in these classes explore the history and meaning of religious life and connect with their own spiritual experience.
