During the spring of their junior year and fall of their senior year, students at Olney Friends School all participate in College Class, at which time they prepare for and complete the college application process.
The process starts with self-reflection, and determining which type of college suits each individual student. We then move to the basics of a college application, including the college interview and visit, recommendations, the essay (drafts and a final copy), standardized testing, and financial aid.
Throughout the course, the college counselor provides each student with significant one-on-one time, and strategies for success in the college application process.
